Fylde Coast Resilience brings together community organisations, businesses, and public sector partners to share knowledge, spark collaboration, and strengthen our region. We empower local entrepreneurs and changemakers—whether just starting out or already established—by fostering real connections that lead to lasting impact. We’re not a typical networking group. No pitches, no pressure—just meaningful conversations and direct support. Our goal is simple: to build a stronger, more resilient community through collaboration and shared success. And thanks to support from Blackpool CAN, we’re achieving that goal.

Helen Bingley OBE DL JP gave a presentation about the 2025 King’s Award for Voluntary Services on 11 September at the Fylde Coast Resilience meeting at Sharples Hall. If you would like to find out more about the award and what the requirements are for applicants, please click HERE.

David Barker and John Shaw of Blackpool Music School met each other at a Fylde Coast Resilience meeting and have been working together on several projects.  Aside from that, David has been providing low cost meals to the school’s cafe.

Fylde Coast Resilience is privileged to have Anthony on board as he has provided business banking to at least three organisations he met with through our network meetings. Finding a bank that understands social enterprise isn’t easy as those in the business can tell you.

Thanks to Yvette Holden from SELNET, Kristiana was given a tablet computer through its program to provide computer equipment to children.
